- I have a Gen 1 Helix 7 DI GPS that I use for both open water and ice fishing. You have to buy the ice fishing transducer (which is another $100) and a small 12 V rechargeable battery (another $20-30 dollars) so keep that in mind. It's big and you will have to make some kind of mount for it.
